Question about ovulation and pregnancy
I was hoping someone can help me.
I recently went off the pill (about 3-4 weeks ago) and have recently been feeling very nauseous. Could I be feeling nauseous during ovulation? Is that even a symptom?
Also, if in fact I were pregnant (I don't think I am at all), I recently BD and am supposed to get my period next week (the 14th). Would a pregnancy test show up positive if I possibly conceived as soon as this week? I'm am clueless about this stuff and am sort of freaking myself out
TIA

Re: Question about ovulation and pregnancy
I think the sick feeling you are getitng is probbly your body adjusting to being off the pill. I have never felt sick during ovulation.
I was on the pill for 10 yrs! and have been off since Aug 1st. The best way for me to get to know my cycles was tracking everything and using the Ovulation Predictor Kits. That will give you an idea of when you ovulate.
U never know! You could be PG! Some people say it takes the BCP time to get out of your system but other people say you are most fertile when you first go off the pill so who knows.
I am not PG yet and I have been off of them for almost 4 months

Re: Question about ovulation and pregnancy
When I came off the pill I started feeling all weird. I was getting really tired, sometimes tick to my stomach, boobs hurting. All of these were new in comparison to when I was on the pill.
As far as the testing, you can test as early as 10DPO (days past ovulation). I would say that if you aren't expected to get AF until the 14th, then it is still too early.

Re: Question about ovulation and pregnancy
Thanks for your responses. I am off the pill about 22 days. The first day of my last period was on October 17th. IF I am regular (but who knows since this is my first month off the pill), I should have ovulated on October 31 (or close to that). We were "active" on November 1st and today (the fourth), and really think it's WAY too early to be feeling any type of symptom. However, I've been so nauseous since Friday morning and I can't shake it.

Re: Question about ovulation and pregnancy
I felt a little off the first month off the pill. Took me amonth to regulate. I don't think I O'd the first 2 months. I would wait till after this next AF and try charting and pay attention to your body signals

Just remember that even if you have a "regular" 28 day cycle the actual ovulation day can vary widely within that timeframe. Just like most women don't have a 28 day cycle, most women don't ovulate on day 14. Temping or using an OPK will help you pinpoint your actual ovulation date.
