question about shower rsvp, what would you do?

the rsvp date is tomorrow i am going to try to wait pateintly until friday before i have my mom call some people. Now there is this family friend and her mom and her daughter of my dh side that has not rsvped. For some strange reason dh's grandma refuses to call just to see if they are coming. meanwhile she has been friends with this women and her famly for 55 years!!!!! Anyway i ask my dh aunt to call she says she doenst want to call just for that b/c she never speaks to them on the phone. All three women came to my bridal shwoer and wedding. i am wondering if the invites got lost or it was the wrong address they all live in the same house.
His aunt and grandma said if you dont hear from them assume they arent comng, What would you do?

Ugh, that's SO annoying. Who is officially hosting the shower? I would have that person call. Even if that person is on your side.

I'd get the # from DH's family, and have your mom call... its rude for them to not respond, but i wouldn't assume one way or another.

I would have whoever is officially hosting the shower call. I always give people 3-4 days after the RSVP date to respond.

My mom is hosting it . I would give everyone who hasnt rsvpsed until the weekend,even though the day is tomorrow. I have no idea why people dont want to call them its soo weird. They feel weird calling just for that so i said how about calling to say hello especailly his grandma who has knows her friend forever!!!!!
