Question about special battery replacement on a watch
so with Fortunoff going out of business, I am at a loss of where to take my watch when the battery dies (usually every 2-3 yrs).
my watch need to be "pressure sealed" or something like that... can't remember the exact technical term. I bought my watch years ago at Bailey, Banks & Biddle, and they used to have to send it out for a battery replacement (took 2 weeks!!). I found out several yrs ago that Fortunoff can do it while you wait (or about an hour), so I have been going there. but with the store closing, I am wondering where I can now take it. Preferably somewhere that I can wait for it. I hated it when it had to be sent away!
any rec's are really appreciated! TY

Re: Question about special battery replacement on a watch
I recently took mine to Tournaeu to have the battery replaced and it was pressurized while I waited (or shopped in the mall )

That's where I take my watches. My Technomarine needs to be pressurized, so they tell me to go shopping for 30-45 minutes.
