Question about swings/bouncy seats
How do you feel about these items? I went to BBB today for the first time to get a heads up and I cannot imagine getting a bouncy seat, papasan, and a swing and all these other things they have. What did you get the most use out of?

Re: Question about swings/bouncy seats
DEFINITELY the swing. We also had the newborn-to-toddler rocker which we are still getting a ton of use out of.
My mom has a bouncy seat at her house and DD absolutely loves it. Hope this helps.

Re: Question about swings/bouncy seats
I LOVE the swing! We also have the infant-toddler rocker and we use that. We never got the papasan, or a bouncy seat. However, someone gave me their bouncy seat, and DS didn't really like it....

Re: Question about swings/bouncy seats
IMO, it's so hard to tell b/c every baby has different favorites & preferences. We have all of them, and DD went in the swing a total of about 5 times. She wasn't a fan. She likes the bouncy seat though.

Re: Question about swings/bouncy seats
I can't imagine NOT having a bouncy seat--where else would you put them down? Truly, that got the most use out of any baby item I have. I did have a swing, but neither of my girls particularly loved it.

Re: Question about swings/bouncy seats
I use my swing and bouncy seat religiously. I would suggest putting both down.

I agree. My son is 2 1/2 months and HATES the swing, which is the one item everyone told me to get. He screams everytime I try to put him in it. I am hoping he will like it when he is a little older.
He loves the bouncy seat though We also got a glider seat, which I didn't register for and I probably put him down in that most often. It has more support than the bouncy seat. He sometimes naps in it and I can strap him in just in case he wakes up and I am not in the room.

Re: Question about swings/bouncy seats
I got a lot of use out of the swing and bouncy. The swing is great because he can sit in it and look all around. We keep ours in out den. The bouncy seat is great for when I need to talk a shower. I just carry him and the bouncy seat into the bathroom. It isnt too heavy to move from room to room. We also put him in the bouncy when we eat dinner so he is in the kitchen with us.
