Question about taking a break?
Just curious; we did one round of IUI/Clomid and one round of IUI/Injectibles. Should we take a break before trying injectibles again or just go ahead?

Re: Question about taking a break?
Unless they want you to take a break, keep going. Unless of course you feel you need to take a little time off. I would keep going. three's a charm, you never know.
Good Luck.

Re: Question about taking a break?
I agree. Especially bc you're in the mindset of being used to the injectables already. I was on a forced break for 3 months and went thru so many pity parties and had to work myself back up to get myself in the mindset to be able to go thru all of these shots again... GL!!!!

Re: Question about taking a break?
I have taken a forced break due to drug side effects and a break by choice because I needed to regroup. It really depends on how much you can take financially and emotionally. I know that if this month doesn't work out for me after 5 cycles of IUI's and OHSS, I will probalby take a few months off. HTH!

Re: Question about taking a break?
Thanks, guys. It's just that me & DH were discussing what we're going to do if it turns out we're not pregnant this week. We think we'll try one more time if the dr. thinks it's worthwhile. I give all of you wonderful women so much credit because you've been going through these infertility treatments for so long and we've only been through two cycles and we're wiped out already.
I wish all of you the very best; I'll keep you posted.

You really have to go at your own pace when it comes to ferility treatments. Remember that you and your DH are in charge of how fast or slow you decide to go on this journey. If you are feeling drained, take a break and reassess things. There are no rules here. Best of luck!

Re: Question about taking a break?
I hate to say this, but it's almost become a routine. Part of that "you do what you gotta do when you gotta do it"...Rocky Balboa logic. Currently I'm doing nothing until beg of May. I feel like I'm forgetting something everyday. Though I still do fiber (for my IBS), wheat grass powder, pre-natals, fish oil and grape seed extract. Not to mention nothing cold or raw and red raspberry leaf tea. Its almost comical.
