Question about Thanksgiving Pies -- Can I buy the day before?
I am planning to buy fresh made pies from a local bakery. I've never been in charge of pie before so I don't know all the rules! I'm planning to get an apple and pumpkin... Can I pick them up the day before and put them in the fridge overnight? Or would they taste much better if I fight the crowds to do the pick up on Thursday morning?

They would be fine in the fridge overnight but either way I would call & order them ahead.

I agree. I wouldn't wait until Thursday, although I'm sure Weds will be very busy too!

Wednesday will certainly be busy as alot of people travel that night or very early thursday morning.
