Question about the first episode of "Heroes"
I missed it, so I don't know how Claire discovered her ability. I saw in the previews that she jumps off the bleachers, but how does she know that she won't get hurt?
And who is the boy from her school that knows her secret?

During the first episode, while the boy is taping her jumping, she says that it was her 6th attempt at trying to kill herself. We don't know how she originally discovered that she can't get hurt.
The boy is some guy from her school who she normally wouldn't associate with. I don't know how she chose him to be the one to share her secret.

Ah, ok. So was Peter also trying to kill himself when he jumped off the building? Or did he know that his brother could fly and would save him?

He wasn't trying to kill himself. He had been having dreams that he could fly and felt that it meant that he really could, so he was trying it out.
I don't think Claire actually wanted to kill herself, but she was trying to see how far her invincibility went.

I think he had a camera and that was her only criteria!! 
I'm wondering if at some point we won't see a flash back to the day when some of them discovered their powers.
I mean, we saw some of them use their powers for the first time and look surprised, but a couple had alreay been using them.

She has a dual personality. Her other personality brutality murders people (so far just men that treat her badly).
I don't really get her "ability" though. It's not exactly a good thing!

Her ability has been compared to the Hulk. She mentioned to her sister that one of the murdered men was nearly ripped in half. Then when she was on the elevator, the door dented in and nearly opened from her force. But she doesnt remember anything, kinda like Bruce Banner.

Just a competitive friend. They were both trying to get the attention of the QB and they seem to be friend/rivals.
