question about the last in last out rule in nyc
I am a little clueless is this part of our union agreement so we would have to agree to change it or is it a law in nys or nyc? I have 9 years in but got below average on my teacher score but have all satisfactory ratings at my school.

I'm pretty sure this is State legislation, so I would think it would be very difficult to just end seniority.

The mayor is going up to Albany sometime in the near future to appeal to the state legislature to overturn last in first out. He wants to make it so principals have the right to let anyone go.
