Question about traveling and car seats
If you are flying with your LO but will not be driving around and/or renting a car at your destination, do you still bring the car seat just to use on the plane?
DH and I are thinking about taking a trip with DD (who will be around 19/20 mos when we go). We don't intend to rent a car or travel much (think relaxing beach vacation ...hopefully ) so if we do bring her car seat it will only be used on the plane. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to lug around the car seat just for that. If we don't bring the car seat we would use that CARES restraint system on the plane.
Thanks!

Re: Question about traveling and car seats
If you aren't going to be renting a car or using transportation then I would just use the CARES harness.
Me? Personally? I'd buy a $40 Scenera or other inexpensive lightweight seat if I were traveling and renting a vehicle.
