Question about traveling with a 14-18 month old
Okay, so DH has given me the okay to check out prices for a vacation! He has 1 week in July and 1 week in November, so I am checking things for both dates, but I am lost as to where we could go, DS will be 14 mos in July and 18 mos in November.
Any suggestions?
Not opposed to flying. Not opposed to driving (no more than 8 hrs each way). NO CRUISE-Neither DH nor I have cruised, and not sure we're ready (I get motion sickness very easily!)
TIA!
Like, would DS be too young for Sesame Place at 14 mos? What about the Beaches Resort?
ETA: Oops, initially put Sandals, meant Beaches

I am in the same place as you.
Trying to figure where to go this summer....
Leo wants to cruise, I just don't think its going to be very fun. No drinking, no gambling, no real excurisions...
I was thinking of going down to the keys...we love deep sea fishing, I could do that with Josh.

Re: Question about traveling with a 14-18 month old
We cruised with an 8 month old, and I believe cruising is really the same until DC is 2 or 3 (depending on what age the kid's program starts). And I am going to be honest, it was hard and I had my WHOLE family with me. DH was an arse who went out and left me alone with the kid in the room. Plus Christopher isn't a "schedule" kid, he did fine staying up to 11pm everynight then too.
We are going to Captiva for a family reunion when he is 14 months old and then Italy when he is 18 months old. Italy is to see my friend from high school and my parents are coming with us.
Chelle really liked Beaches. I think Atlantis is supposed to be good with kids too.
In July you could even do Montauk (and hang out with some other fun people while you are there )
