Question about Trigger or HCG shot
So... My belly has been itchy all day, and I thought I felt like a welt on my tummy, so I just looked in the mirror and I have a 2" welt that is all red and itchy where I did the HCG last night...
Is that normal? Has this happened to anyone else?
Its super itchy and tender....

I had to give myself the shot this morning...I surprsied myself, not so bad!
It was itchy at the injection spot for a few hours...i didn't have a welt this time but i have before...it should be better tomorrw.

i got my trigger shot yesterday morning and by the afternoon i had 1 welt on my face and one on my neck. My cheeks looked like they had a little rash on them too. I took benedryl and i seem ok now.

I always get a welt, just as you describe and that spot is extremely sore for days afterwards. Like a bad bruise you can't see.
My docs say it is normal.
