Question about your bridal shower
Did the colors of your bridal shower match the colors of your wedding?
I am planning SIL's shower. Her wedding colors are dark and light purple. Do I stay the same? or do something different?

My wedding colors were Cream and Blue, the bridal shower was Pink and Purple because they are my favorite colors.
I wouldn't have had an issue if it was the same color scheme as the wedding, but I don't know if everyone feels the way I do about it.
If you are looking to keep it a surprise, I would suggest complimentary colors, or if purple isnt her favorite color, going with those.
Also, instead of colors, I know a bridal shower that had a tea party theme, rather than using one or two colors, had a bunch of colors to go with an english tea party theme

no, i asked my SIL not to do it the same as my wedding. I asked her to use purple for my shower because I love purple and that was my second choice for the wedding
plus i didn't want people to know what colors we were using for the wedding

The colors of the wedding were my faves, so yes!
Pink and green.
It was held at a chinese buffet...yum!!! My sister found chinese themed decorations in pink and green and various other items

Yes but I would've been fine if they didn't match. By the end of everything I was a little sick of damask and apple green. lol!

My shower had a tinkerbell theme (Im such a loser, lol) so lots of pinks and greens. My wedding was a comp different story. Fall theme so I stuck with those warm colors.

im not sure if my shower had a theme...i think it may have been daisies, which were my wedding flower. but as for the plates, they were just ones from costco. i wouldn't have cared either way, i was just happy that someone threw a party for me!
