Question after my 1st iui- found out something interesting!
Hi everyone It's been so inspiring seeing all of the BFP's lately- keep up the good work ladies!
It was my first iui ever, so I was a little nervous but it was so much simpler than I thought. After abusing my OPK's for the past few days, last night at 5pm I got a :)
Dropped off this morning, went out to ihop (yum) and came back. As the Dr. is inserting the catheter, she keeps poking poking poking....mentions she is having a hard time inserting it in through the cervix. I said, "oh that's what the radiologist said when he was trying to do my HSG". She said, "I'm glad you said something... it looks like you have a curved cervix!" And sure enough, when I asked if it could be a reason why I haven't conceived yet, she said "yes, could be".
Why didn't I know this before? Do any of you have a curved cervix? What else do I need to know?
going back tomorrow for round 2.

Wow, i don't have a curved cervix, but I hope that IUI will help make it easier for you to get pregnant now!

it is called tilted uterus. not a big deal at all. i "think" i have it as well, diff drs kept giving me contradicting comments. I just assume that they ones who have "hard time reaching the cervix" need a bit more medical training
