Question buying electronics from stores!

Let's say you saw a camera for $100 at Circuit City and the same camera cost $90 at Target. Which do you buy? Do you think the quality of cameras is poorer at Target than the quality of cameras at CC? Just a question because I bought someone a gift and bought it at Target but got a little flack for that.

If it's the same camera, then it's the same camera.
Target has ful quality items. When we went to target in FL, they had China!


If you're worried about it, bring the target at to CC and maybe they will match the price.

Thank you! That is basically what I said. I'm not worried, but when this person brought up this concern, I was kind of annoyed. It isn't like I purchased it at Shane's dollar daze or someplace like that.

a.) I think they are the same
b.) I bet the return policy at Target is better than the one at CC as long as they have a receipt
c.) I think it is nervy of someone who gets a gift to make comments about where you bought it. That makes me want to stop buying them gifts

Was this a guy? I ask because I bought my DH a grill at Target, the same grill (actually, a lower model) was at Home Depot for almost $50 more. He was hesitant about buying it and said "if it's all we could afford - I think we should go to Home Depot instead" I was livid...just because it's from Target doesn't mean it's cheap...and Target is NOT the 99 cent store (I thought it was funny that you said a similar comment). I was really annoyed at his comment...and once he saw the grill put together he felt bad. People are jerks sometimes!!

It's a store...that sells everything...why the negative feelings toward it?

It is the same camera no matter where you get it from. I just bought a camera and went to price grabber and bought it where I found the best deal. I know people say places that charge lower prices do so because they sell second quality, but I do not think that is the case. I have bought electronics at Target, at Costco/BJs, Walmart and I have never had a problem.

Same camera, same model, same accessories, same warranty? I would definitely buy it at the least expensive place possible. There is a difference between US made cameras but not enough that anyone would know the difference.

Yup, same camera... and no it wasn't a guy. I bought it for my grandfather and it was my grandmother who made the comment. Nobody else offered to run to the store to buy it
