Question: DC around 6 months

What do you use with your DC?

I still use the floor gym, the swing, bumbo seat, obviously an exersaucer, thinking about getting a jumper. And she also likes the infant to toddler rocker.

I don't know if I should still be using the swing with DD Chat Icon , but she still likes it especially after she's been active. I only use it about 15-20 min a day.

I am considering a jumper because she loves to bounce when held up to standing.

I am wondering about what all of you use/like.

We used the jumperoo, exersaucer, mat, I would even sit her on the floor with a bobby behind her. We also used the bebe pod. I have to say she loved her Jumperoo!

Lots of floor toys - especially balls. Jacob loved the Fisher Price Roll A Rounds (I think that is what they are called).

We retired the swing around 7 months. I was sad to see it go, lol. He is 10 months now and still goes in the jumperoo occasionally.

Abby is 5 months...we retired the swing this past week. I was sad, but she rarely used it and it was taking up lots of space.

She uses the floor gym, boppy and toys, excersaucer, and bouncer...

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

My DC are 7 months.
They still use the play mat and the swings.
Also the exersaucer and the jumperoo are popular.
I just got one of those big foam mats and now I lay them down on there with a bunch of toys. THey like it because they can roll all over and are not restricted at all.

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

While I need to get things done, DD goes in either the excersaucer or jumperoo. Once in a while her bouncer which she still loves.

But for the most part, she's on the floor with her toys. I bought a those interlocking foam mats for the floor and she spends alot of time there.

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

DS is 6.5 mos. He rarely uses the swing. Maybe once every two days.

He loves the exersaucer, playmat, and bumbo seat. He sits up fully so he just hangs on the floor with his toys a lot. He's actually too short for his horsey jumper. LOL. Hopefully soon he'll fit

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

The other thing DD REALLY loves now is we got one of those travel seats that hooks onto the table. She LOVES sitting at the table at daycare with her toys in front of her, so we hooked the chair onto our Island in the kitchen (where we sit), and she just LOVES it.

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

we do the mat a lot-- because I want her to "work out".

then the exersaucer not as much, because I have to move it out from the place where we store it.

And the jumper-- but, I have one of those door jam ones, so it also requires a litle forethought- as opposed to the mat, where I just put her down.

Michelle-- great idea about the travel chair.

Alexa loves the exersaucer and her bouncer/seat still. She hates the swing and really has. I think it is time to pack it up. She also likes to hang out in the walker. Even though she can't touch the floor, she loves to just hang thereChat Icon Chat Icon

She is also in the play pen a lot with all her toys. Everything is in the mouth lately.

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

DS loves his jumperoo. We don't have an exersaucer but he uses one at Daycare. Mostly it the playmat or blanket with toys. He is starting to want to grab everything. The bumbo and the bouncer are still in use and the swing if I need him to take a nap.

Re: Question: DC around 6 months

I borrowed a jumparoo from a friend at around 6 months and Chloe loved it. Also, activity boards are good. Tiny Love has a fun one that Chloe loves...
