Question for 1 year old Mommies

Is your DC walking yet. I know every kid is differnt.

I was just wondering i'm i the only one that my dd is not walking yet.

I want to see her walk. i don't know why lol.

i know i should not be rushing it. But i think it is so cute seeing them walk.

Not yet. Lots of furniture cruising though. DS also will walk quite some distance when we hold his hands.

Re: Question for 1 year old Mommies

DS is walking for awhile now but I know that every kid is different. My friends DS didnt walk until 11.5 months and one of the kids in DS daycare didnt walk until 15 months. So it all depends on the child.

Re: Question for 1 year old Mommies

11.5 months and no walking yet. I was so sure she'd be walking by like 11 months b/c she's been crusing for forever and standing on her own for long periods, but nothing yet. I'm not concerned though.

Just starting to cruise here. She's getting brave and letting go and stanf=ding on her own for a few seconds at a time as well.

We are in NO rush because then I know that life as I know it will be over....Chat Icon

Re: Question for 1 year old Mommies

No walking here and I;m in no rush. He can cruise from one end of the house to the next in 3 seconds, walking will only make that faster Chat Icon

Lucas started walking right before his first birthday and now he's getting better Chat Icon

So just when I got myself some concealer and people stopped saying that I looked tired...it started again. Chat Icon I am exhausted - I wish I could bottle his energy.

Re: Question for 1 year old Mommies

DD started walking short distances (4 steps here - 6 feet there) at 10.5 months - now she is all over. I could be wrong but I think her ped said she was very early and that the average I thought he said was 13 months - most of the kids we know started walking at 12-13 months. Don't rush it there is no containing them once they start.Chat Icon

This makes me feel good. DS is 11.5 months & we've got nothing yet. And I dont see it happening in the near future since he cant even stand on his own.Chat Icon
