Question for Chicco car seat moms
So we are looking into getting the Chicco car seat. But someone recently told me that they are large and don't fit in some shopping carts. Is this true?
Just wondering. Thanks!

I only tried once and it didn't fit but after that I actually decided that it was better to just leave him at home with DH or put him in the basket part of the cart. It scares me to see kids in the front of the cart

I agree! We put ours in the basket, or I push the stroller and DH pushes the cart or I wear her in the Bjorn. I haven't found it to be too bulky and I'm small (5'1"). I think it is a very safe seat and I would get it again. I also use the travel system stroller instead of rigging the thing up to a snap and go. I haven't found it to be difficult at all!

Mine fits in the basket part of the cart..but not in the top. It doesn't snap on like some others do.
I have to say, as much as I love it, it is very heavy compared to some other infant seats I've seen. A few of my friends have the Graco and its a huge difference IMO.

mine doesn't fit in the front part and i tried to put it in the main part of the shopping cart once and it took up the whole thing  i don't go shopping alone anyway!

Same here!! My boyfriend never understood why I came home from food shopping with 5 things...lol.
I do love the carseat/travel system and would get it again.

With DD in the front and DS in his carrier in the main part there is no room for food. #1 reason I started using Peapod!!!
It does not fit on top (shouldn't put it there anyway). It doesn't fit in the smaller carts. I have a keyfood by me that is a small store and the carts are too small.
