Question for insurance agents

What is the turn around time for a binder on a homeowner's policy if the agent has all of the info already and our check?

We want to close on Friday, but I just found out the lawyer doesn't have the binder and the agent is out today.

Is it possible he can get it processed and over to the lawyer in the morning?

that shouldnt take any longer than a few hours. if i recall correctly, when i closed on my house the insurance company got everything over to my attorney within a day.

eta: if the agent is out that shouldnt be your problem. speak to their manager and explain to them your situation. i'm sure someone will be able to get everything out for you.

you should have no problem whatsoever! I am not an Insurance Agent, but I work for an Insurance Wholesaler, (we deal with agents only) and we also write homeowners, and I am sure any insurance agent will put a RUSH on a binder for a closing, I know we get the calls from the agent that the closing is happening NOW and we put it on high priority!
