Question for moms who BF and have experienced..
the horrible h-word from pregnancy or delivery. I have worked so hard and been through so much to be able to BF DS. I have to pump 3 times a day at work so he gets his bottles for Daycare and I hate pumping. TMI but my hemorrhoids have gotten so bad that I don't know what to do. I called the Dr. and there is nothing that I can take prescription because I am nursing but whatever I have tried so far over the counter doesn't work. I hate to even post this on here but I was hoping someone could suggest something that worked for them. TIA I would hate to have to stop nursing DS at 6 months because of this especially because we have worked so hard and are finally getting used to our routine but I don't know if I can deal with this for another 7 1/2 months. Please help!!!

OMG, I didn't have a vaginal birth but my hemorrhoids are terrible lately and I have been suffering also. I have no idea what to do besides taking warm bath's.
I share your pain

Epson salt? Witch hazel?
These are what I used soon after delivering. I thought that you could use ointments like preparation H etc.

Have you considered getting them removed?
This seems like a long shot, but Kegels worked for me in relieving the pain... I read an article that suggested it and it worked...who knew?

Re: Question for moms who BF and have experienced..
No advice just as I'm going through the same thing! They were SOOO bad last month. I felt like I couldn't even walk. I took a lot of warm baths and used tucks after every time I went to the bathroom and preparation H every night. It eventually went down. They flare up about once a month It's terrible!
