Question for Suffolk County peeps....

I need to take the LIRR from Penn to Mill Pond Golf Course which is in Medford. I see the LIRR goes to Medford, but the schedule is terrible. I'm wondering if I can take the Port Jeff train? I'm not sure if that will leave me too far away. I need to take a taxi once I get to the station. So, basically I'm asking what station would be best (and cheapest) to get a taxi to Mill Road in Medford?
Thanks for your help!

I would think getting off in Ronkonkoma and taking a taxi from there would be best.

Port Jeff is way too far. Go to Ronknonkoma and you can take a taxi from there.

it may cost you 20 dollars by cab from ronkonkoma. Probably only cost you 5 dollars from medford station. Port Jeff is too far

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm going to take the train to Ronkonkoma and I've recruited my niece to pick me up. Thanks again!
