Re: question for the experts..
The lines indicate that O will happen in 12-36 hours (not that it already happened). So, since you tested at 1:00PM yesterday, ovulation should happen anytime between 1:00 AM today and 1:00PM tomorrow. EWCM is a good sign and you should make sure to BD. Based on 24 day cycles, O between CD8 and CD 10 sounds about right.

Re: question for the experts..
Which OPK's are you using? My understanding is that, in order to indicate ovulation is approaching, the second line should be as dark as the control line, or darker. I got a second line when I wasn't approaching O - but it didn't mean anything unless it was dark.

No. LH occurs naturally in the body, so if you use FMU you can get a faint line at any time in the month. OPKs are just that . . . predictors of future events, not past ones. If you are temping as well, a spike in temp will show that you already ovulated, but not the OPK.

Re: question for the experts..
I got a faint line pretty much every day I tested - and I dark line the day of my surge. From what I understand, once you get your surge - that's that. Just BD for a few days in a row and you should be covered, especially if you still have EWCM. If you got your surge yesterday, then chances are you O'd yesterday, today or will tomorrow. Good luck!
