Question for the nurses...
I am THINKING about going back to school for nursing.
What is the schooling difference for LPN vs. RN? What is the salary difference?
What do you like/dislike about your job?

If you do a search on the careers board, there's been a whole bunch of threads on the topic over the last year... it should help answer some of your questions
As far as salary difference- it really depends on where (and in what area) you work, but on average, i would say that the difference tends to be about 30K-40K. Also something to consider is the option that you'd have- i dont see LPNs used too widely in the hospitals (though they do tend to use them alot in nursing homes). Just something to keep in mind.

my sister ia an LPN and def wishes she went all the way for her RN. I was thinking about doing it too, and I will def go all the way/
