Re: question for those delivering at LIJ
I delivered there and I never pre-registered. At one of my early appts, they gave me a form to fill out and bring to the hospital when I was checking-in for delivery. It helps speed along the admission process because all your info is right there on the form.

Re: question for those delivering at LIJ
My OBGYN gave me a form at one of my earlier appointments to pre-register. Ask your Dr.

Re: question for those delivering at LIJ
I am not delivering their but your dr. might not give it to you yet. I just got my packet this last appointment and i am 20 weeks I think with my son she gave it to around 24 weeks. If she doesnt give you the registeration form by 24 weeks I would ask for them. I sent my paper work in at 36 weeks and when I got to the hospital to deliver I still needed to sign 3 or 4 pieces of paper and it is very frustrating to try an do that while contracting. I would start my signature then stop for the contraction to end. I couldnt imagine filling out forms. Plus if you have DH do it he will probably be asking you all the questions on the sheet anyway and you might end up getting more frustrated.
