Question for those of you w/ Pre-schoolers ( b-day related)
Just wondering if you have invited the pre-k class to your childs b-day party, had something seperate from DC's regular party or didn't invite class at all....
We are having my DS's party at our house ...This is his 2nd year at pre-k and a few of the kids from last year are in his class, and a few are new...His b-day is in October....We already have probably 20+ kids coming ( friends/family) to his real b-day party...I will of-course be doing the munchkin thing in the classroom, but was wondering if I should invite his classmates to his regualr party or maybe have a little something seperate at the house in addition...Is the classroom thing enough at this age (I just don't want him to get invited to others parties during the year and we didn't do the same, kwim ?) The only issue I have w/ inviting them to his regular party is that is tons more adults too - As it is I'm for sun to avoid a rain-date or bringing the party indoors...
We live very close to the school, so I was thinking doing a 1.5 hour pizza thing after school for class-mates only, We are also going to Disney Oct 10-17, so I'm panicking about having enough time to throw this all together !
What have you done ???

So far we've only done the classroom thing. They've been invited to a few classmate parties, but at our school most people don't invite the whole class.

DS is starting school today so I'msure this year we will just do a family/friends party with no classmates (his party is already planned for Oct.) I think as DS gets older we will weed out family and my friends kids and have more classmates.
