question for those who enlisted a pro. photographer for their newborn...
obviously, babies come when *they* want, so how do you book an appointment, KWIM?
i am thinking of doing this, but wondering how that part of it works.
thanks!!

I told her my EDD and then I called her when I got home from the hospital, she came when DD was 10 days old

You tell them your EDD and they come to you before the baby turns 2 weeks old (optimal posing time for newborns).
I had DS 8 weeks early, but he was in the hospital for a month. We had the pics taken when he was 6 weeks old (still 2 weeks before he should have even arrived, but she worked with us).

I let her know my EDD, and when he was born I texted her in the hospital and we made plans for the following weekend.

Exactly what the other ladies said. You tell them your edd, they pencil you in and you call after you give birth.
