Question for those who normally wash DC's new clothes before they wear them
Are you going to wash the Halloween costume too?
DS's Halloween costume just arrived.  I tried it on over his PJs and it fit. It's machine washable so I assume I'll wash it. I just hope it holds up ok.
If you've washed costumes in the past, how did they hold up?

DD is 2 and I still wash all of her clothes after I buy them. I don't wash fancy dresses or Halloween costumes first though, don't want to ruin them.

That's what I was worried about. DS is going to be a tiger. DS seems to have pretty sensitive skin like I do. There's a hood so I was a little concerned that if I didn't wash it first, it may irritate his skin.

I wash eveverything, except his Christening outfit. Including his costume. I use the gentle cylce and cold water.
