Do you wash your new clothes before wearing...
...or do you just rip off the tags and slip it on? I do the latter (with the exception of panties.) DH MUST wash every item of clothing before it touches his skin.

bras, undies, socks yes must be washed before wearing
clothes not always some stuff yes, but not everything.

I only wash undies and bras, nothing else though.
DH though - he won't wear anything except socks until they've been washed. my Dad is the same way - maybe it's something in their genetic makeup

I don't do socks either--or bras. I feel like the bra will get ruined if I wash it right away!

5 years ahead of you (as of Saturday) and all is STILL well.
I only wash items that say to wash before wearing (ie dark rinse denim that explicitly says to wash to avoid blue leg)

OMG...that is CRAZY!!
You should go to the second hand store and buy all his clothes and then they will already be washed numerous times!!

I always wash new clothes before wearing them. My mom always washed our new clothes before wearing and it is just out of habit, I guess.
