question for those who use "green" cleaning products
Can you recommend your environmentally safe cleaning products? With a newborn in the house I'm a little uncomfortable using cleaning products with harsh chemicals like Clorox Clean-up w/ bleach, Formula 409 etc. But I feel like the products with the harsh chemicals really clean well and killl germs. Do the environmentally safe products actually disinfect like other common household products? For instance if I'm cooking dinner and have to clean up the kitchen counter after handling raw chicken...will these greener products really do the job?

Me too! I just bought their products for the first time and I really like them. I also use white vinegar to clean, but that gets a bit smelly.

i use white vinegar a lot. I find it works a lot better than bleech sometimes. my garbage can was stinking BAD and i couldnt get the smell out, tried bleech and soap and it still smelled, now I just use vinegar and the smell is gone

I like the Arm and Hammer ones, those ones w/the cartridge where you add water.

I don't like the green works ones, I find they don't work well, but the glass cleaner one is ok

Hi Lisa! Congrats on the cutie, BTW! Anyway, I use the Seventh Generation brand for a lot of mine and the Costco brand laundry det. I have used Clorox Greenworks in the past, but don't trust them for some reason...

I clean my counters with windex Green list all surface cleaner. Its made with vinegar & free of harsh chemicals. I am afraid to use chemicals where we eat & my dog eats off the floor.

Re: question for those who use "green" cleaning products
I make my own homemade concoction which is baking soda, white vinegar, castile soap and warm water. I use Clorox Green Works on the toilet bowl.
I have saved so much money using this!
