Question from a soon to be new mom anyday now.
I was told since a baby cant use a blanket you should put the outfit on that has no legs over the PJs.. Is that too much? I thought the outfit with no legs was a pj in itself. This probable is confusing, since i dont know what the name is for the outfit.

I'm not really sure what you are referring to - a gown maybe?
Most mom's swaddle or use the sleep sack.

No not onsies, maybe its a sleep sac then.. i looks like a nightgown but no hole at the bottom.. Is that a sleep sac? sorry i have no clue about baby terminology. My baby shower they kept laughing at me.

Yes, it's called a "sleep sack". We used them for the first several months if it was too cold. Since you'll have a fall baby, they are definitely a good idea. Depending on the temp, either a sleep sack over a onesie, or over other pjs if it's really cold. Usually, a sleep sack over a onesie should be fine.
