Re: Question from Preggo mom re: nursing bras
i LOVEd the medala nursing bras! I think they sell them at BRU... but I actually ordered mine through Gap.com and ordered a bunch of sizes... it was free returns on all maternity, so i just returned the size that I didnt need... the wireless ones are so much better IMO... also get a sleeping one as well...
These were the two that i got and loved...

Re: Question from Preggo mom re: nursing bras
I got HUGE when I was nursing and any of the nursing bras typically sold in maternity stores were 100% useless. My MIL took me to Mary Corsetieres in Woodbury and they custom-fitted me for a true fit nursing bra. It had no wires and absolutely NO give in the fabric, which, to me was best. They were easily adjustable and I was not in the amount of pain as I was with cheaper bras due to lack of support. Also, buying them in advance would have been useless as well. I got much bigger than I EVER imagined I would. The bras were costly, but worth every penny.

Leslie, this is what i see happening to me. I was a Dcup pre-pegnancy and now am in an E (which is pea in a pds DD). So maybe i will but 1-2 cheaper ones to get me thru the hospital etc and then head over to the place you recommend. Were you this big too?

Re: Question from Preggo mom re: nursing bras
I would get a few nursing tanks for now then get the bras after the baby is born. My favorite nursing bra is from pea in a pod. I wasted so much money on different ones and then found this one, it is SOO comfortable. I never got too big though - 36C - so I don't need that much support. If you are larger, it may not be enough.

Before pregnancy, I looked like deflated water balloons. During pregnancy I looked like I had implants. After pregnancy while nursing, I looked like I was holding up two bags of rocks. Sexy. I would go check the sizes of the bras, but they are in the depths of Abby's closet.
