I am starting IVF this cycle and I was told to call the first day of my period to set up an appointment for day 3. Well I get my period today of course a day early and now no one is there and I have a really busy day Monday. What do they check for on day 3 I cannot even remember from last time (4 years ago). Does it have to be day 3 or can t be day 4? Would you call the emergency line? I go to LI IVF.

some offices want day 2 or 3 but most will let you come in on day 4 is that is all you can do.

is your period full flow? if not dont count today. Call them on Sunday to set up for Monday or tuesday I would not call the ER line since they are open on Sunday

If it started mid-day you can definitely go in on day 4- as pp I wouldn't call the emergency line just call tomorrow to setup an appt

Call the emergency line. This all depends upon your dr. I had two diff drs and it was diff for both.

Call now, if u haven't already. They make ask u to in today or let u wait until day 4. I think anytime from day 2-4 is OK

It's ok if you don't go on day 3; you can go up to day 5 on a fresh cycle.

Thanks everyone! I ended up called the emergency number I had no clue they were open today. I went into Melville at 7am. They said they do 2 or 3 day visits. Good thing tomorrow I am so busy at work I wouldn't have been able to come in. That office was great!
