Question re: power outage
We were lucky enough to get probably the worst of that storm last night. We did not have power for over 6 hours. It came back on in the middle of the night, but do you think food kept in the freezer for that long (the door was not opened at all) would stay frozen the whole time? This morning I checked and everything looked ok, but I know it's bad to eat something that has been completely thawed and then refrozen.
Anyone else loose power?

Re: Question re: power outage
You're food shoud be okay as long as you didn't open the freezer and let cold air out and warm air in.
I would check your milk, tho and make sure it still smells okay and not sour.

Re: Question re: power outage
Thank you! I am very nervous when it comes to food (and food poisoning). The milk was fine this morning.
Thanks again!

Re: Question re: power outage
it should be fine since the door was closed the whole time.
