Questioning the gender at sonos...
DH and I both don't want to know what our twins are. Today at our level DH thinks he saw that baby A is a boy. Wen I found a site that shows all stages of genitals at certain weeks, he now thinks what he saw was girl parts.
My question is, have you thought that you saw and knew what gender the baby was, but it turned out to be another?

Nope, I knew  was a the minute I saw the sono, but I had been studying sonos, so I knew what to look for.

i am not sure if this is possible, but i think the dr looked at the baby's abdomen to see ovaries because she really wasn't opening her legs much and the doctor confirmed girl. with my son you could tell right away, you can definately make out the male organs.

Yes I thought that baby A was a boy and I thought I saw boy parts every time that we did a sono.. I was completely wrong.. Baby A was a our little girl and Baby B is our boy. Unless you are a sono tech I think it is really hard to tell.

We didn't find out the genders either. Every sono I was convinced I saw something (a penis). One sono I thought I saw "ovaries" (that was at 12 weeks) - but then I read something and thought they were testes.
And you know with twins you get 100 sonos, at each one I would to try to figure it out and had NO idea what I was looking at, and unsure as to whether or not there was something there. Obviously I NEVER did see anything, since I had two girls.

I was convinced that my DD was my 3rd boy. The sono tech kept scanning between her legs, and I was convinced I saw a penis... the tech INSISTED that those 3 lines were NOT a penis.
She was right.... I was wrong

Ive had so many sonograms that I can tell....
BUT in general I think it's pretty hard to know what you are looking at unless the tech/doctor tells you...

I swore I was having a girl. At my level II the tech and doc confirmed boy. I was shocked! I have no idea how they tell. I see the little "rocket ship" in my pics, but when I've looked online at girl sonos the same week I went they look exactly the same!!! So no, I couldn't tell at all.

we had no clue what we were looking at b/c the way  was laying it was hard to tell.
Then the tech showed us the "three lines" and assured us it was a girl.
