Questions ...
Tonight I have my monthly doctors visit (21 weeks) ... now is the time I guess to start to really ask questions about birth plans and hospital tours, etc ...
Anyone havve any advice or questions or topics I should be bringing up tonight? I always get there and forget to ask questions, so I want to be prepared this time ...
Thanks so much ladies!

Re: Questions ...
Depends on what kind of birth experience you want to have. I would ask the Dr. about his rates of episiotomies, unplanned and planned c-sections, % of natural childbirths (even if you don't want this it gives you some insight to his philosophy)...

Re: Questions ...
A few that I thought of:
You want to discuss your doctor's instructions on when to call - for example how many minutes apart should the contractions before they want you to call
Go over your desire for or against medication and make sure that they will follow your wishes. Also find out their policy on overriding your wishes.
Ask them how long they will let you try to deliver vaginally before making the call for C/S.
You might also want to get some advanced info on: - Gliucose Test - Any additional sonograms - When do the appts change (3/2/1 weeks) - Any paperwork that you need to fill out for the hospital
