Questions
We are starting IVF. Dr Scholl says IUI probably won't work and I need more time to heal from the surgery.
I called the IVF Nurse and am waiting to hear back, but I have a situation
I am CD3, of the Pre IVF cycle. What do I have to get done this cycle? And when? My mom is in hospital overseas and I need to go. Dr Scholl said the next 3 weeks is OK, but I have a 24 - 26 day cycle
When does the lupron start? Is it oral or an injection
TIA

Re: Questions
i guess every protocol is different, but when i had my ivf done, i think i started the lupron around cycle day 10 and it was an injection every day until hcg shot. Also, i had a saline sonogram done - i believe- around cycle day10. Ask your ivf nurse what the timeline is for you and see how it fits your schedule.
I hope your mom feels better.
Best of Luck.

Re: Questions
I'm not exactly sure how a straight lupron cycle works (I've only done micro-dose), but it is defiinitely injectible. I would call and speak to them about it.
So sorry to hear about your mom

Re: Questions
Thanks, I have a call into them, but I thought I'd jump the gun and ask here while I wait to hear back

This is correct. Once you start the Lupron you can take it for longer if you need to delay stimming.

Re: Questions
So they called me and I should start the lupron on or about 3/24 once my progesterone is above 5.
I guess I'm the next IVF'r
I am extremely nervous

It just seems like everytime we get ready for a procedure (IUI) somehting gets flung my way and I start stressing. My mom being in hospital is stressing me and my family isn't helping the situation
