Questions regarding owning your own business & taxes

Can anyone recommend the accountant they use if they own their own business? I am not sure about using my personal accountant for my business as well.

Also, a friend of mine who sells Mary Kay said I should be paying taxes quarterly not at the end of the year when I file. I have never heard of this. She said she didnt do it the 1st year she was in business and was fined. I called the IRS and asked but they told me that is incorrect. Does anyone know anything about this?

we do our biz and personal together.

For DH and brothers bizs i do quarterly 941's but my personal Tastefully Simple I do at the end of the year. I think its if you have empoyees you do 941's. We also make quarterly payments to ease the hit at tax time but they are NOT required.
