Quiche Pie Shell Question
I plan on making a quiche for dinner tonight with store bought pie crust. Do I just pour in the ingredients and bake? Almost all the recipes I've come across are for homemade crust and it seems you bake that first and then add in your ingredients and bake again. Also, if I just bake everything at once, I guess follow the recipe instructions on how long to bake once you've filled the crust? First time quiche-maker here, so not sure how this all works.
What say you? Thanks.

Re: Quiche Pie Shell Question
I have always used the frozen premade pie crusts for my quiches. I just mix the eggs and all the ingredients together, pour into crust and bake

Re: Quiche Pie Shell Question
Great! Thank you! That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure since I've never made one.

Re: Quiche Pie Shell Question
I usually prebake the pie shell for like 10 minutes (covered with foil and pie weights). I find the bottom of the crusts gets crunchy this way.
