Quick Answer needed...will take first one.
Short. Girl across the street has new baby, 3 weeks old, I'm having a playdate this afternoon with a bunch of my girlfriends...should I invite her round??? You know, just to get her out of the house etc?

Yes, but don't be surprised if she doesn't want the baby around the toddlers. I'd have been nervous

I aksed her, She is coming. We don't have the same attitude towards the dreaded "germs" over here as you guys do. A lady from my babygroup had her baby on Tuesday and on Friday she was at babygroup leading the singsong!!!

WOW! I was still milking all the help I could get from DH I could at that point.

I think it would be nice to extend the invite. She may not come b/c the baby is so young but it's a lovely thought!

I know! I was still crying in my PJ's on the sofa at that point! Ah well, I guess when you have your second you have to just get on with things. I just wonder what her DH was at home doing while she was out with the kids!!
