quick breakfast ideas
DD is 4 and we have very little time in the AM for breakfast, so it needs to be quick. I hate giving her frozen waffles because she likes it with syrup and i dont all the sugar. She hates oatmeal, but will eat cereal. She's got a sensitive tummy so i dont like giving her too much milk. and I dont have time to "make" something like an egg.
what does everyone else do?

-- we make pancakes in bulk and freeze them. We then put a couple in the toaster to heat up in the morning and call it a day. -- breakfast muffins (frozen) -- hard boiled eggs (make a bunch and leave in the fridge until you use them) -- smoothies

Pancakes Yogurt Do you think he would eat frozen blueberry waffles? I give my kids the flavored waffles (blueberry, cinnamon, chocolate) and they don't really need syrup

You could do waffles with unsweetened applesauce to dip in. I cook and freeze pancakes, waffles, and french toast and they all reheat very quickly. I'll also do a granola bar with yogurt.

Re: quick breakfast ideas
I sometimes make eggs in muffin tins with whatever toppings you like (ham, cheese, etc), bake them and keep in the fridge and then just pop in the microwave for a few seconds.

Veggie muffins are great. Dd loves them (14 months). They're made of veggies and you just have to microwave them.
Earths best French toast sticks. Don't need syrup.
They have frozen egg sandwiches or wraps you could microwave.

I do waffles, pancakes or French toast sticks. Sometimes he gets all 3. I don't worry to much about the sugar because he eats fruits and veggies all the time. You could always get all natural maple syrup so it's not loaded with extra sugar.

Sprouted grain toast with nut butter, hard boiled eggs made ahead of time, protein smoothie made the night before, sliced bananas with nut butter, greek yogurt with fruit, chia seed pudding ( a bit more adventurous ,but some kids love the tapoica like texture ,also can be made the night before) You could also pick up the Vans multi grain waffles, which are quite low in sugar. Top it with 1 or two teaspoons of pure, grade A maple syrup or raw honey. A little goes a long way and this sugar isn't refined and has trace nutrients.

Re: quick breakfast ideas
I make extra french toast and pancakes when i makes the on the weekends and pop them in the microwave on days we need to be quick or he is the only one eating breakfast.
It takes about 60 seconds to make a scrambled egg on the stove for DS (you could actually cook it in the microwave too)
oatmeal
bagel or english muffin with cream heese/jelly/butter
yogurt
cereal and a banana
muffins

Try the waffle with some nutella, peanut butter, vanilla Greek yogurt, or jam. Still sugar, but less than syrup. Pre made hard boiled eggs and whole wheat toast with cream cheese or peanut butter are a common quick breakfast I use. (Or English muffin, or bagel)

quick breakfast ideas
On mornings when I work and I am rushing out the door to daycare, I usually pop a couple slices of cinnamon toast in the toaster. My boys will eat it dry, they get milk with it. I also make a huge batch of homemade pancakes once a month and freeze them. And some days it is something as quick as one of those pouches with a cheese stick or yogurt.

Have you thought of sugar free syrup? That's all we use in our house DS doesn't know the difference. They do have frozen maple waffles and pancakes (no sugar needed) but I'm sure that has more sugar. You can try toast with butter, jelly or Nutella with a banana or fruit. French toast sticks

I make super eggy French toast on nice bread and add in a drop of real vanilla extract and another drop of maple syrup and then tons of cinnamon. Then I freeze the slices. Pop in the toaster and it's perfect and doesn't need syrup!
