Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
I do ok when it comes to making better choices at lunch/dinner that are healthy..
Breakfast foods are a big issue
I "think" carbs when I think of breakfast ( bagels, rolls etc..) ..
Eggs (whites) take too long and I always end up feeling hungry afterwards..
Any go-to breakfast options I can keep on hand ?? Thanks !

I eat the WW bagels in the morning with WW creamcheese.
You can have whole wheat waffles with sugar free maple syrup.

Re: Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
Thanks, I'm looking forward to the answers too...
I've been doing this for a while so I don't know where I got the ideas from originally but I combine some of these:
1 or 2 pieces whole grain bread with 1 teaspoon of low fat peanut butter. Sometimes I sub Ryvita crisp bread which tastes SO good
1 cheese stick
1 low-fat yogurt
1 packet low/no sugar oatmeal
Cup of green tea (this is a must for me), no milk, no sugar
It doesn't sound like much but it's enough to hold me till late morning when I go to the gym for a few minutes and then have a small snack till lunch.

I eat a bowl of Fiber One with Silk Light every morning. I figure even if I do low carb for the rest of the day that gives me most of my fiber.

Many choices. The WW breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. I have tried two of the varieties. I have that and a cup of watermelon or strawberries before or after. Coffee or green tea and lots of water.
5 pts.
WW whole wheat english muffins (I will have two) with some polaner all fruit jam or ww cream cheese. Cup of berries.
5pts

I do these homemade protein bars we make every week & just have them in the fridge if i want really quick.
We made a few substitutions. We use organic chocolate protein powder instead of the plain. We use dried cranberries & dried blueberries. There's a ton of other great recipes here, too.

Re: Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
not sure how quick this is, but here goes
SO makes me a protein shake
he makes enough for the two of us:
milk protein powder (flavorless) old fashioned oats wheat germ fruit honey
my favorite is when he adds peanut butter and the fruit is a ripe banana
oh, and ice
it is so yummy and filling
i don't know the amounts of each item, again since i only cheer on from the sidelines

Re: Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
I eat about 3 times in the morning before lunch (this is between 7:30 am and 12:30pm)!
At home, bowl of cereal -- (plain cheerios, autum wheat, bran flakes, other kashi brand cereal) with lowfat milk. At work I usually have a serving of fruit and either lowfat plain yogurt(sometimes vanilla) with granola OR a english muffin/bagel with smart balance spread.

My go-to breakfast (especially when I am too tired to make eggs) is one cup of Kashi Go Lean Cereal and 1 cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk.
It is full of fiber and protein.

Re: Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
I typically have a "green" smoothie for breakfast, I find I have more energy when I have it and it keeps me full for about 4 hours.
I blend together 1.5 cups water with 1 apple (cored but not peeled), 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup frozen strawberries and 4 cups spinach.
It takes maximum 5 minutes to blend together (usually not that long) then I throw it in a large water bottle (it makes about 24-30 oz) and drink as I am doing other things.

Re: Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
i cut up strawberries and bananas, or blueberries and bananas, and put them in the magic bullet cup and leave them in the fridge overnight. in the morning, i add milk and give it a whirl- awesome
some mornings id use greek yogurt instead of milk
either way- they were really good.
trader joes also has frozen mixed berries- tossing them in the bullet with milk was good too
now i want a smoothie

Re: Can you share low-fat breakfast ideas that are quick ?!
These are all great ideas! I fall into a habit of eating the same thing for breakfast for weeks at a time. Maybe I'll try some of these suggestions now! :)
I used to make "egg muffins" ahead of time. I would put either egg beaters or egg whites into sprayed muffin tins. Then add spices, a few cubes of Canadian bacon, onions, and a little cheese into each. They cook very fast. During the weekdays I would just take one or two out of the fridge, place them in some sort of lower point bread/wrap and microwave it. Pretty good and fast for those hectic mornings.

chobani yogurt!
OMG yes - love these. I sprinkle in a little wheat germ to add some texture and I love it.
I'm not a yogurt person and these are awesome. The strawberry/banana is my favorite.
A small apple with peanut butter is good too.
