Quick help re turkey cutlets
2 questions -
I just opened a pack of turkey cutlets. They were two different colors - a few were pink and a few were the same color as chicken. Different parts of the turkey??
Also - I bought them on Monday. They have been in my fridge since. They say good through 12/21. I figure if I hadn't bought them, they could still sit in the store until 12/21 and still be good so they should be fine in the fridge right? But now the 2 colors has me questioning it....
Safe or not?

If it were me, if they didn't have a foul odor I would use them.

They smelled fine, but I threw them out. I'm sure they were fine, but DH wasn't going to eat them after I told him about it anyway!
