Quick on The Judgement
Have you ever judged someone based on a post that you seen and disagreed with? I am not talking about a series of posts - but a single post. Someone you never really thought about one way or another.. and then they post something that totally sits wrong with you and you suddenly have it in the back of your mind that you don't like this person?
Did you keep that judgment for any length of time? Did subsequent posts strengthen your feeling?

I am judging your eyeball right now. It looks fake to me. I bet you aren't real.

Re: Quick on The Judgement
Never ever judge, but I have a feeling there are a few people on here who are 100% fake or BS on their posts..
Very sad!

Re: Quick on The Judgement
Yes - it was a single post (on politics), but it was so close minded and horrid that I never looked at that person the same way.
ETA: I can't stand when people treat others like crap - in 'real' life or via post. I have no stomach for it

Re: Quick on The Judgement
I admit that based on a pattern of posts that particular people post I do judge them, then again maybe they r totally different in real life but I kind of doubt it. If anything-- I think people show truer colors online b/c it is usually what they r actually thinking but would never say in public

Re: Quick on The Judgement
I haven't been on long enough yet but I can see that there are some people that answer similarly to the way I would.
I don't think that one single post would do it, but more likely a series of posts.

I agree with this. One post may make me NOTICE them in subsequent posts where maybe I wouldn’t have taken notice of them before, but with one post I don't know that I could tell much.

Ditto. I don't think I have held a judgement on someone based on 1 post but I have certainly made choices to chat / not chat with certain people based on many posts.
