Quick question about red meat / steaks

I think I read somewhere that we're not supposed to eat anything but well-done red meat, and I'm hoping this isn't the case!

Does anyone know if we can have medium or medium-well cooked steaks?

Ask your MD because every practitioner says something different... I still eat mine med/rare.....

i was told no red meat.....and i miss steak...

i eat mine medium rare, more rare than medium....

ETA: don't base your info on our answers and be sure to call your doc - as they ALL have different responses to this kind of thing!

My OB said I could still have meat just as long as it is done. I always eat my meat medium well with a little pink in the middle so it works for me.

I've never been a steak eater, but when I order a burger, I always ask for medium. I think as long as it's not too bloody you should be fine, but definitely check with your OB and see what they say.
