Quick question about tube surgery?

If you DC had tubes put in....How long before they returned to preschool or day care? I was planning on asking the Dr. for her opinion. Just trying to get a general idea for planning ahead.

If it makes a difference DS will be almost 3 at time of surgery. Thanks

It really is a VERY easy thing.

I was told a week but she had adenoids removed too.

DD is having tubes put in next week. The dr said she will be fine later that day and can return to school the next day and will be just fine.

My DD had tubes but in almost two weeks ago. She was literally fine by the time we got home. She doesn't go to daycare, but I could have sent her the next day if I had to. Good luck!

Thanks everyone!! I was thinking that he would be able to go to preschool the next day.

I Was told that Abby could have gone back the same day but we had her back the next day.
