Quick Question: Do you tip a contractor?
The contractor is here installing doors, ceiling fans etc. Do we tip him?

We didn't tip our electrician when he was here to install a few ceiling lights, and the contractors that are doing all the work on our bathrooms are getting paid quite a bit - not a situation I'd tip for.

My DH used to be a contractor. On the rare occasion he got tipped but he would usually split it up among his employees. It was definitely appreciated but as a PP said, so is a case of beer!
