can be only in the lower belly (like real close to bikini line) and lower back?

I am not sure Shana, I remember feeling crampy then it went it full blown contractions.

For me, I had back labor. It started as lower back pains and got so bad that I couldn't stand up straight, every time I got a contaction I had to lean over the counter or a chair cuz my back hurt so bad

mine started as mild tightening, just like a braxton hicks. They were consistently every 10 minute and then progressively got stronger and more frequent.

Yup- Mine were all in front but it felt like a tightening and as soon as I started timing them I realized they were 5 minutes apart.

Mine initially felt like strong period cramps and they were all low down. Not until they got real bad did I feel it all over. This could be labor!!!  Good Luck!

mine started high but I had a previa. Then they felt like AF & then full on contractions!
