Raging headaches
These are probably the worse headaches I have ever had and are making me super crabby. They start in the afternoon or ewrly evening. Been trying to take Tylenol here and there which takes the edge off. What else can I try? My friend said try a can of coke. I don't drink coffee just tea here and there so don't think it's that just hormone related or not enoigh water? I try to drink 60oz a day
I am almost 12 weeks. I will ask the dr when I go Wednesday.

Raging headaches
It's a combination of hormones and possibly dehydration. It is true tha caffeine helps. Soda, coffee. Or your blood sugar could be low...have some juice.
I had an awful migraine this pregnancy first trimester. I even went to a neurologist. This is what he told me. Thankfully I didn't have any more episodes.

Re: Raging headaches
I had this w DS1 (have always suffered from hormonal headaches). A Tylenol and some caffeine did help.
Mine ended with the start of the second trimester.
Good luck!

Raging headaches
Acupuncture and chiropractic care will work wonders for you... My heath insurance doesnt cover either of these but being a migraine sufferer and not wanting to take pain meds, these two hand in hand worked great for me. I only have 8 days left of my pregnancy and have only had 3 terrible migraine episodes. With my first pregnancy, the first three months were hell... After weekly treatments, didnt have any headaches for the rest of my pregnancy.

Re: Raging headaches
Try increasing your water to see if it's dehydration. If that doesn't work, try some caffeine. That always helped my headaches. Never took Tylenol for a headache during pregnancy (though I wasn't opposed to it, either).

Re: Raging headaches
When my migraines got unbearable with DS I would take a tylenol with a coke and try laying down in a cold, dark room. That helped sometimes.
I also swear that taking a Magnesium supplement helps with my migraines. I haven't taken them in a while as my headaches haven't been as bad this pregnancy but I believe they are safe in pregnancy. It's definitely worth asking your dr if they continue.
