Random Casey Anthony question - Do you find her scary?

Of course she is unbalanced for killing her daughter (I believe she did), but as I watch her on trial, I realized I don't find her to be scary in the same sense as OJ Simpson or Scott Peterson.

For example, I'd never want to be locked in a room with either of those maniacs, but for some reason, I don't think I'd be so scared of Casey. I'm trying to analyze why - maybe because she is a young woman? -- even though she carried out a horrendous and heartless crime.


Anyway, how do you feel?
Would you be scared of her if you had to left alone in a room with her or something?

Hmmm ... I think I'd be less scared locked in a room with OJ or Peterson since their acts were so personal.

I am terrified that there are people like her in this world. I truly believe that not only did she kill her daughter, but that she is incapable of feeling remorse. I can picture her torturing animals, or even other human beings with absolutely no emotion because she can justify ANYTHING in her head. She feels like she is unstoppable, that she is smarter than everyone and that she will always win in the end.

She is a VERY dangerous person.

I would LOVE to be in a room with her. Just so I can beat the livng crap out of her. She doesnt scare me in the sense that she will hirt me. She scares me in the sense that she is so cold and calculated and void of any REAL emotion.

I find her stupid as a fox. I believe this child got in her way. I believe she murdered that little girl to have the "bella Vita". I think she deserves whatever she gets, and then some. What she did and is doing to her family is just so unimaginable to me. She should rot.

If left alone in a room with her I would not be scared of her. I might want to punch her in the face but I definitely would not be scared. To be honest, she makes me sick, moreso than they do, because she killed a baby, HER baby. I know the other 2 crimes were awful and I know Lacey Peterson was pregnant. But as a mother, I cannot comprehend how you can hurt your own child, KWIM?

hmm interesting. I mean, don't get me wrong ~ if I had to sleep in the same room as her, I'd be staying wide awake the whole night!

I have to think about this a bit more. Maybe I feel I could "take her," if I had too.

I feel the same way you do. I don't think I'd be afraid to be in the same room with her.

I think it's because OJ and SP killed adults and Casey murdered a defenseless child. She's a coward.

ETS: I think that she is completely capable of ANYTHING and the worst part of it is that she displays absolutely no remorse for what she has done.

That's an interesting question... I agree that OJ and Scott are scary, and I get a different vibe from her, but I think it's because I could defend myslef from her if I had to where as I would be screwed if attacked by those other monsters. I think my real issue with her is that she is a sociopath and so you would never really know what she was thinking, plotting, doing.

I agree I would find her to be more scary in a friend (group) situation. I am actually surprised when the shot girls came up, they did peg her as one of those chicks (we all know them) who likes to start drama and manipulate ppl and situations to pin ppl against one another just for fun.

I don't find her physically scary either. I also don't believe that she killed Caylee in cold blood. I think she over did it w/the chloroform or xanax & the baby died while this idiot was out at the club.

OJ Simpson is a big dude. His crime was against two other ADULTS.

Scott Peterson, kind of the same thing, he's not as big as OJ but again, he's a man, he's larger, stronger than most women, there's a real physical threat of being overpowered.

With Casey Anthony, she's a woman. Her crimes were committed against a child, not another adult so to me there's less physical threat.

Though frankly, I'd prefer not to be locked in a room with ANY of them!

She is dangerous.

ANYONE capable of what she did--which there are no words for--is a truly lethal individual IMO

That said, would I be afraid to go toe to toe with her in a fair fight? No way I could rip her apart.

Two different things though. I would be scared to have her in my life in any fashion bc of what she is capable of. But to sit in a room, as a stranger with no relationship with her no.

Mental illness is alot scarier then physical presentation. With that said, yes I might be nervous around her and what she is capable of. I look at the David Laffer guy. He probably could have been "taken down" too but his mental illness didnt give one of his victims the chance to defend. He was capable of walking in with a gun bc of his mental instability. Casey's crazy just like the rest.
