RAVE- went to the new sprinkler park in Smithtown today
Aside from the jack@ss who was running around with his kid in the water around the rest of the kids smoking, that me and another mother finally said something too (and then he proceeded to just stand by the fence in the sprinkler area smoking anyway) it was SO much fun!
Me and DH went with Eddie and my SIL and her DS today. The boys literally just ran around for almost three hours in it! Whats nice is they have an awning with picnic tables set up so parents can hang out in the shade. It was so new and nice and clean, it was a blast!
It was also nice bc there was nowhere for the kids to go and nothing for them to get in trouble doing, so we just got to relax for almost 3 hours chatting while the kids played. Oh, unless your the kid who kept running up to all the other kids and pushing them, again, with a mother who did NOTHING about it until my SIL said something to her. What is wrong with parents!!
All in all, such a good time we are going back tomorrow.
Hopefully it is bad parent free, LOL!

Do you know where the old armory building is on Smithtown Blvd, that they are currently renovating into the new Nesconset library? Its right behind there.

It actually doesnt have one at all. Its just a small town park.

yes, you do.
There is a booth with someone checking residency. its hit or miss though, sometimes they check, sometimes they dont.
