Raw paws?
We took Bella to the dog park yesterday (after a 2 month hiatus because she hurt her leg) and when we got home I noticed that her front paws were red and raw. And she has been licking them. Is there anything I can put on them to help them heal? I don't want them to get infected.

Re: Raw paws?
There are these pills they sell for dogs called dermcaps-my Dog gets the same thing. I also take a q tip with peroxide and clean them every now and again. Make sure the hair is kept trim on the paws too.

Re: Raw paws?
Thanks, I actually called the vet today, because of her being out in the rain this morning, they started to bleed. We have been cleaning them with peroxide every night, we also bought this spay for dogs to help wounds/scrapes heal, so we will see how it goes. We tried putting little booties on her feet, but that lasted all of 5 minutes. At least she is not licking them anymore.
